2019 SABL Registration


Welcome to 2019 SABL Registration!



Welcome to the 2019 SABL recreation season registration website.


Our registration has closed however; there are some programs in which you may still register for.  Due to careful planning and coordination, we are assembling a waiting list.  This list will be on a first come, first served basis and those on it will be accepted contingent upon our ability of accepting your child/ren into certain divisions.  Unfortunately, some divisions in both baseball and softball have been completely shutdown, as of March 17th.


Your child’s age determines the appropriate Quickball, baseball, or softball division and team.  


Softball divisions and ages are for this year are:  8U (ages 7-8), 10U (ages 9-10), 12U (ages 11-12), and 18U (ages 16-18).  Team placement is determined by your daughter's age as of January 1, 2019. 


Baseball divisions and ages are:  Pony (ages 6-8), Minors (ages 9 and 10), and Majors (ages 11 and 12).  Team assignment is determined by your son's age as of May 1, 2019. 


Connie Mack boys baseball registration is also available for boys 13-16 years old as of May 1, 2019.


All 4 and 5 year olds play quickball.  Quickball is recommended for first year 6 year old players.  Experienced 6 year old players can remain in quickball or play baseball. 


In March, 2019 each "league" (i.e., quickball, softball, and baseball) will conduct a draft to assign players to teams and create teams with comparable talent.


Upon completion of the draft, your child’s coach will contact you regarding team practices and games using the phone number(s) and e-mail address you submit during registration. 


Registration fees vary by division.  All registration fees now have a late fee of $25 built into them.  Quickball is $120 with most softball and baseball divisions priced at $150 for the season.  There is a family maximum registration fee of $275 and that maximum is independent of late fees.  Should we not be able to accept your child/ren this year, we will refund your fee but may have to deduct up to $10 for transaction fees incurred.


Registration provides your child with a team shirt, socks for girls, baseball hats for boys and indoor practices beginning in February, 2019.  Registration also allows parents to attend any of our six upcoming coaching clinics. 


Opening day is scheduled for Saturday, April 27, 2019.




For 2019, each family will be required to buy and sell $50 worth of raffle tickets.  The raffle ticket process is as follows: 


1: Each family pays $50 for ten raffle tickets during the registration process.  

2: Ten raffle tickets will be provided to each family on or before opening day, April 27, 2019. 

3: You can sell each ticket for $5 or keep the tickets. 


Either way, return ticket stubs with the buyer's name for the raffle drawing on or about Saturday June 8, 2019.  Raffle ticket stubs can be submitted at any of our two SABL administered snack stands.  One snack stand is located at the VFW field, the other at the American Legion field.
